i run this build which works wonders in pve
D/W

Scythe Mastery 11+1+1
Earth magic 6+1

Victorious Sweep
Sneak Attack
Wild Blow
Heart of Fury
Conviction
Aura of Holy Might
Avatar of Grenth
Eternal Aura

Equipment:
all survivor insignia
rune of vitae
superior vigor

a zealous scythe of enchanting with 15% (while enchanted)

just wondering wat ppl think cause i run it with a very modded sabway and i have no problems in nm and very few in hm

That should be standard on any melee character imo

i have tried asuran scan but i prefer sneak attack
ok the damage from asuran scan is big but the mass, almost spamable blind is better and this is more of a defensive build. i have max in all the titles used in this build (and asuran btw) n i find this build works way much better than using asuran scan

being defensive in the end is best
if u can out last any foe then u win its that simple
and if u actually check there is quite a bit of damage there including rank 10 aohm, 20 armor ignoring every hit, +27 from victorious scythe and the critical hit from wild blow
i reguarlly find myself hitting above 100 with this build

Then your monks need some re-education.
Frontliners kill. Single target blind will not help you achieve that and it won't really save you. A mid-liner can bring the debilitation.

lol btw im using a scythe so its not single target blind and when use agaisnt crucial foes it is awsome i.e melee bosses knockdown wars etc

If you're coming up against enemies that hit hard enough to merit the blind, you should be bringing Prot Spirit - that'll turn any huge damage hit into something much less scary and you won't need the blind.
If you still want blind, bring an ele hero or something with Blinding Surge, or an Earth ele with Eruption. Physical shutdown is usually better with a curses necro or just decent application of Aegis.

I recommend you bring an ER Ele hero:
Ether Renewal, Aura of Restoration, Prot Spirit, Spirit Bond, Aegis, Infuse Health, Dwayna's Kiss and Patient Spirit.
With PS and Aegis on a second hero, you get some decent aegis chaining and physicals are insignificant. A Curses necro with Sabway should have enfeebling blood and/or reckless haste. You just don't need blind.

Asuran Scan will speed up the killing process on these powerful enemies, blind just puts a physical out of action a little while.
